Each day, the Prayer Angels lift in prayer all those who are in the Gorham Cancer Prayer & Support Group and those from our church family who need prayers and support. The "angels" pray and send emails or cards of comfort and encouragement.

The Prayer Shawl group meets to make beautiful knit shawls which are given or sent to people who, for one reason or another, need to be reassured that someone is thinking of them. The group also knits wraps for the Portland homeless and make mittens, hats, baby blankets, and wraps for the children and mothers in The Abused Women's Group in Portland.
